The symbol (U+21AF DOWNWARDS ZIGZAG ARROW) is a Unicode character.[1] It is used for indicating a contradiction (the relationship between incompatible propositions) in mathematical logic, and electrolysis (the process of using an electrical current to separate molecules) in chemistry.[2] It can also be used as a symbol for lightning.
