1962 Orange Bowl

The 1962 Orange Bowl was a post-season college football bowl game played January 1, 1962, on between the LSU Tigers of the Southeastern Conference and the Colorado Buffaloes of the Big 7 Conference . It was the final game of the 1961 season for both teams, LSU won 25–7. ^[1]

Notes	The game was also the national title game for either the Bowl Coalition, Bowl Alliance, or Bowl Championship Series in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998, 2001, and 2005. There was an Orange Bowl in January and December in 1996 and 2014. The game was a semifinal for the College Football Playoff in its 2015 edition.
