The 1969 East Tennessee State Buccaneers football team completed an undefeated season going 10-0-1 and also capturing the Ohio Valley Conference championship. This is currently the only undefeated season and last conference championship for ETSU football. The team capped off the season by defeating Louisiana Tech and NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw in the Grantland Rice Bowl.[1][2]
