19th Grey Cup
The 19th Grey Cup was played on December 5, 1931, before 5,112 fans at the Percival Molson Memorial Stadium at Montreal. The Montreal AAA Winged Wheelers defeated the Regina Roughriders 22 to 0.
This game was the first time the Grey Cup was won by a club from outside Ontario. This game also marked the first time that use of a forward pass was allowed by the Canadian Rugby Union. Consequentially, Montreal's Warren Stevens threw the first touchdown pass in Grey Cup history, caught and scored by Kenny Grant.
