The 2008 Football League One play-off Final was a football match played at Wembley Stadium on 25 May 2008, at the end of the 2007–08 season. The match determined the third and final team to gain promotion from League One to the Championship, and was contested by Doncaster Rovers, who had finished third during the league season, and Leeds United, who had finished fifth. The teams reached the final by defeating Southend United and Carlisle United respectively in the two-legged semi-finals.
Over 200,000 Leeds United fans applied for tickets but the club were only given the 43,700 that they eventually took to the game.
