The 2009 Queensland Cup is the 14th season of Queensland's top-level statewide rugby league competition.[1] 12 Clubs competed in the 25 Week Long Season (including Finals) which will eventually conclude with the 2009 Grand Final at Stockland Park in Kawana.[2] A new addition from the 2008 Queensland Cup Season will be the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles and will be a feeder club of the Manly Sea Eagles. The club is a renamed Sunshine Coast Falcons.
