The club also picked up Jonathan Simpkin from Geelong. During the main trade period, the Hawks picked up former Western Bulldogs backman Brian Lake and Sydney Swans forward Matthew Spangher and offloaded Stephen Gilham to Greater Western Sydney.[1]
