9Apps is a mobile application distribution platform of Alibaba mobile business group, and an international third-party Android applications and games shop. It allows global Android mobile phone users to download apps and games without logging in.[1][2]
Founded in December 2013, 9Apps covers users from 100 emerging countries, including India, Indonesia, Russia, Brazil, Southeast Asia and the Middle East region. By April 2016, It has more than 26 million daily app/game downloads and more than 250 million monthly active users in 9Apps.[3]

- In December 2012, 9Apps and 9Games put into operation.
- In September 2013, the Web version of 9Apps was officially launched.[4]
- In March 2014, 9Apps for Android was launched.
- In July 2014, India office of 9Apps was established; Indonesian and Russian versions were released in the same month.
- In January 2015, the download number of apps or games on 9Apps exceeded 10 million per day.
- In December 2015, 9Apps became the largest third-party Android application shop in both India and Indonesia markets.
- In February 2016, 9Apps' Facebook fans' number had reach 1 million.[5]

- In January 6, 2016, 9Apps released the data analysis products & services 9Apps Trends. The platform aims to provide developers and other professionals with multi-dimension rankings, query tools, and the periodic industrial reports.
- In February 2016, 9Apps announced the replacement of new logo. The new logo took the number 9 as the graphics core, and increase a conceptual image of eagle, in order to emphasize 9Apps' brand identity—Fast and Young.
- In February 14, 2016, 9Apps and Uber conducted a co-marketing campaign, offering free ride chances for couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day.[6]
- In March 2016, during the time of the ICC (a popular cricket competition), 9Apps released a special edition of 9Apps Wonder Shake.
