Alexander Hare McLintock
Alexander Hare McLintock, CBE (14 April 1903 – 1968) was a New Zealand teacher, university lecturer, historian and artist. He was born in Gore, Southland, New Zealand of Scottish heritage, which he remained proud of all his life.[1] He edited and authored the three-volume Encyclopaedia of New Zealand (1966) his final & perhaps his most remembered work.
