SPE Networks and MEASAT Satellite Systems agreed to distribute the high definition version of AXN across Asia Pacific. On April 6, 2009, AXN began simulcasting in High Definition in Portugal. It is available on ZON, Meo, Cabovisão, Vodafone Casa TV and Optimus Clix. On July 12, 2010, the channel launched in Poland. AXN HD was supposed to be launched in the Czech Republic in June 2011, but the launch was postponed without any official explanation. Currently it is scheduled to launch in Q2 2012. In India AXN-HD is also available but no one knows cause it is not. In Angola and Mozambique, it is available on ZAP.
AXN HD+1
On 30 January 2011 testing launched open of AXN HD+1, this channel testing 17 hour of day.
