Aamar Durga (Bengali: আমার দূর্গা); is a popular Bengali television Soap Opera that premiered on January 18, 2016 and airs on Zee Bangla. Produced by Acropolis Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., it stars Sanghamitra Talukdar as main female protagonist and Hritojeet Chattopadhyay as main male protagonist.
Plot summary
'Aamar Durga' is a socio-political family drama which revolves around a simple village girl 'Durga', who fights against all odds to become a symbol of power for the society. Life takes a turn when the soft-natured Durga is faced with challenges. These challenges only make her a stronger person as she learns to raise her voice against the atrocities of a power driven world. Soon, she finds herself face-to-face with a corrupt minister who is also her father-in-law by the name Abhirup Mukherje. She challenges his political positioning yet balances and manages the home front as a loving daughter in law.
