Aarran Luke Saul Zachary Racine (born 30 October 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for York City, on loan from fellow National League club Forest Green Rovers.

Career

Born in Worthing, West Sussex,^[2] Racine joined the Southampton academy at under-15 level, signing a professional contract in October 2008.^[4] He was released in May 2012 without making a first-team appearance.^[5]

On 7 August 2012, Racine signed for Conference Premier club Forest Green Rovers on a three-month contract as cover for injuries.^[6] A week later, he made his first-team debut with the club,^[2] playing 90 minutes and scoring in a 2–1 away win over AFC Telford United with a header.^[7] Having established himself as a regular in the team, Racine signed a two-year contract with Forest Green on 13 September 2012.^[8]

By now captain of the club, Racine signed a new two-year contract with Forest on 26 May 2016.^[9]

On 1 December 2016, Racine joined Forest Green's divisional rivals York City on loan until January 2017.^[10]
