Abdul Razzak Abdul Wahid (Arabic: عبد الرزاق عبد الواحد born in Baghdad 01/07/1930 -08/11/2015)[1] was an Iraqi poet.[2]
Career
In 1952 he graduated from school of education (دار المعلميين) and worked as a teacher for a while, after he was the Associate Director of Academy of Art in Baghdad.[1]
- Director of Baghdad Culture Club.
- Councilor of AFAK ARABYA.
- Member of the Central Committee of publishing in the ministry of culture and media.
- Member of the National Committee of musicians.
- Founder of Authors Union.
Personal life
Abdul Razzak was born in Baghdad to Sabians parents. At the age of 3, he moved with his family to Maysan where he spent his childhood and early youth there moving between rivers and the beautiful nature that he loved.[3]
He wrote his very first poem in 1945 followed by his first poetry collection in 1950. He wrote more than 42 poem combinations and 2 poetic dramas between them there are 10 combinations are his favorite which he wrote for children. He also wrote during the Iraqi-Irani war.

- Medal of Pushkin in the World Poetry festival[4]
- shield of cambridge university 1979
- Medal of (golden poem) in the world poetry festival of stroke /Yugoslavia 1986
- First prize in the world poetry festival/ Yugoslavia 1999
- Shield of Damascus from the minister of culture 2008 and there are many from the Iraqi government through previous government regime.
