Aberdeen by-election, 1872

The Aberdeen by-election of 1872 was fought on 29 June 1872. The byelection was fought due to the death of the incumbent MP of the Liberal Party, William Henry Sykes. It was won by the Liberal candidate John Farley Leith.[1]
