Accademia di Cervo

The Accademia di Cervo, a prestigious music academy, was founded in 1988 by Professor Arnulf von Arnim and his wife Elfe in the attractive Italian seaside resort town of Cervo on the Ligurian Riviera. It has attracted the finest performers of classical and contemporary music from scores of countries, as diverse as Germany, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, France, United States, Denmark, Alaska, Argentina, Great Britain, Spain and Israel.

Among the regular guests/lecturers are David Geringas, Ulf Hoelscher, Paul Rosenthal, Jean Sulem and Klesie Kelly. Individual master classes are complemented by evening concerts held from September 1 to 12 every year in a near-perfect acoustic venue, the ancient Oratorio di S. Caterina, before an enraptured audience.
