The Yellow Dryad Aemona amathusia (Hewitson, 1867)[1] is a butterfly found in Asia that belongs to the Morphinae sub family of the Brush-footed butterflies family.
Distribution
In South Asia the Yellow Dryad ranges from Sikkim, Bhutan, Assam, Manipur onto North Myanmar.[2] It also occurs in North and South Vietnam and western China.[1]
A related species, White Dryad Aemona lena Atkinson, is found in South-East Asea.
Status
Rare in its Indian range.[2]
