DHL Ecuador (TransAm) Ltda. is a cargo airline based in Quito and Guayaquil.[2] It is wholly owned by Deutsche Post World Net[2] and provides services for the group's DHL-branded logistics network in Ecuador. Its main base is Mariscal Sucre International Airport, Quito and José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport, Guayaquil.[3]
History
The airline was established and started operations in 1991 as Trans Am Aero Express del Ecuador.
Fleet
The DHL Ecuador fleet consists of 1 ATR 42-300F[4] that replaced the earlier Dassault Falcon 20 aircraft.
