Agatasa calydonia, the glorious begum, is a butterfly species found from southern Burma, through the Thai-Malay Peninsula, to Borneo, Sumatra and the Philippines.[1] It is also found in India. It belongs to the leafwings (Charaxinae) in the brush-footed butterflies family. Its genus, Agatasa, contains one additional species Agatasa chrysodonia from the Philippines.
