Agniputra (English: Fire Man) is a 2007 Kollywood action film directed by Raju Dhoj Rana and featuring an ensemble star cast consisting of Rohan Dhakal, Kabita Khadka, Minu Sharma, Puja K.C and N.R. Rimal in pivotal roles. Action hero Rohan Dhakal had trio role in this movie with various action and thriller scenes. The film was super-hit action movie of the year.[1]

The plot of the film was inspired by Rakesh Roshan's previous film Karan Arjun. This was debut film by Kollywood actor Rohan Dhakal.

Plot

A poor Devi Prasad works in Kaji’s factory. When Devi Prasad found that Kaji is cheating his worker, he starts raising his voice against Kaji and later on Kaji’s goons kills Devi Prasad. Two sons of Devi Prasad, one was thrown into fire and another lost into the jungle. The kid who was thrown in jungle was found by ex-Army officer , Prithvi and another who was thrown into fire becomes a soul of young kid, named as Agni. Prithvi, when he became Inspector, he was transferred to the village where he was born. Meanwhile he found his mother and knows the story behind the family. On the other hand, whenever the old lady, mother of Agni get problem with local goons, she cries and the soul of Agni comes out from fire to defend her. The film later completes with meeting of mother and her lost son.

The music of Agniputra was composed by Kamal Krishna. The song lyrics were provided by director Raju Dhoj Rana, Tirtha Raj Dhakal, Anu Gurung, and Kamal Krishna. Most of the songs were shot in Karnali Bridge, Lamki and Far Western part of Nepal and almost all the songs were picturised on film's lead actor and lead actress.
