Akanksha Puri is an Indian model, and film actress, known for her works in Tamil cinema, and Bollywood.[1] She made her bollywood debut with Madhur Bhandarkar's 2015 drama film Calendar Girls.
Akanksha took up modelling projects during her short stint as international cabin crew. She was then spotted by big production house in south following which she bagged her first project as an actor in a Tamil movie.
Early life and background
Puri hails from Madhya Pradesh and has done her schooling from a convent in Bhopal. Her father, R.K Puri, is a retired police officer and her mother Chitra Puri is an astrologer.
