Akshay Bardapurkar

Akshay Bardapurkar is the General Secretary of the Shiv Sena Chitrapat Sena. He is also into film production by profession.[1]

Early life

Akshay Bardapurkar was born in Aurangabad in a freedom fighters family headed by late Jagannath Bardapurkar. Later on shifted to Borivali, Mumbai. Early school years spent in Vikhroli. Studied at Vikas High School, Vikhroli East. Changed residence to Mulund in 1997. He completed his college education in Ramnarain Ruia College, Matunga.

From 2004-2006 he relocated to London for events related jobs. He worked at various agencies before starting his own venture Akshay Ent Pvt Ltd & artist management agency Red Leaf Ent Pvt Ltd having its office in Bandra worked with companies like Sony music & frankfinn Music.

He has experience of over 2000 event management and exclusively managed more than 100 artistes for various stage shows around the globe. Currently founder of AB Film Company Pvt Ltd having produced its first Marathi film Rege in 2014.

Political career

Akshay Bardapurkar entered into politics in October, 2009. He was the president of Maharashtra Cine & Television Sena for the Party Shiv Sena. Currently he is the General Secretary of Shiv Sena Chitrapat Sena.[2][3][4][5][6]

Akshay Bardapurkar helped film actor Raajpal Yadav to investigate his 'rumoured' death.[7]
