Al Haliq Mosque

Al Haliq Mosque is a mosque in Tunis, Tunisia, located in the Sidi al Beshir arrondissement. It is a listed Historical Monument.

Localization

The mosque is located near Bab al-Jadid and Al Marr Street. According to legend, a widow who sold her jewels to finance its construction hence the name of "haliq", meaning "the rings of a gold ornament".[1]
