Albader Parad was a senior leader of Abu Sayyaf, Islamic rebels in the Philippines with links to al-Qaeda.[1] He led the kiddnaping of three International Committee of the Red Cross persons in 2009.[2] Abu Sayyaf is currently on the United States government's list of foreign terrorist organisations.[3]

Parad is among the Abu Sayyaf personalities wanted by the United States government, which had earmarked a 1 million reward for his neutralisation. Also, the Philippine government has raised a 7 million for his neutralisation.[3]

In April 2000, Parad was among the bandits who seized 21 Asian and European tourists and a Filipino from Sipadan Island Diving Resort in Sandakan, Sabah in neighbouring Malaysia.[3]

Parad then was an ordinary officier. On 20 February 2010, army of the Philippines attacked Abu Sayyaf forces in Jolo and killed Parad on 21 February 2010.[4]
