Alethea Leqetiviti Sokia Boon (born 7 January 1984) is a New Zealand female artistic gymnast, weightlifter and CrossFit competitor.

Gymnastics

Boon earned a NCAA collegiate scholarship in gymnastics and competed at two Commonwealth Games; Kuala Lumpur in 1998 and Manchester in 2002.[2] Boon was 14 at the 1998 Games, and the youngest competitor on the New Zealand team.[1]

She competed at world championships, including the 2003 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Anaheim, United States.[3]

Later years

Boon later moved to Sydney, Australia and took up CrossFit.[4] She competed at three CrossFit Games.[1][4][5]

Boon is also a weightlifter and competes in the 63 kg category. She won the bronze medal at the 2016 Oceania Weightlifting Championships.[6]
