Alexei Petrovich Pavlov (Russian: Алексей Петрович Павлов) (1854–1929) was a Russian geologist and paleontologist. He was professor at Moscow University and an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He published over 160 works, especially in the fields of stratigraphy and paleontology.^[1]
