All For One Theater is a theater production company based in New York City. It exclusively produces solo shows.[1] All For One (or AFO) was an annual festival from the time it was founded in 2011 up until 2013, at which point it switched to a seasonal production schedule instead.[2] Noteworthy performers whom AFO has produced include Tom Hewitt, Deb Margolin, Leslie Jordan, Annabelle Gurwitch, and Bill Bowers. Hewitt, Margolin, and Bowers are frequent collaborators with All For One.[3][4][5][6][7][8] All For One often runs its shows out of the historic Cherry Lane Theater.[9]
Programs
In addition to productions, All For One also offers several creative programs for solo artists. Its Works In Progress series gives performers an opportunity to perform plays that are unfinished, in order to get feedback and other useful guidance.[10] Its Artist In Residence program takes one mid-career artist and gives him or her special funding and resources to complete a new solo play over the course of 18 months.[11] All For One also occasionally offers classes on particular aspects of solo work.[12]
