Allotropha percussana is a moth in the Depressariidae family, and the only species in the genus Allotropha. It was described by Walker in 1864 and is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Tasmania.[1]
Adults are cupreous-blackish, the forewings slightly rounded at the tips with some transverse cinereous lines, a few of which are chalybeous hindward. The disc near the exterior border has extremely minute longitudinal cinereous streaks. The marginal dots are deep black, partly chalybeous-bordered. The exterior border is slightly convex, moderately oblique. The hindwings have a pale cinereous fringe.[2]
