Alphington railway station is located on the Hurstbridge line, in Victoria, Australia. It serves the north-eastern Melbourne suburb of Alphington, and opened on 8 May 1888.[1]
Boom barriers were provided at the Yarralea Street level crossing in 1966, replacing interlocked gates.[2]
Platforms and services
Alphington has two side platforms. It is serviced by Metro Trains' Hurstbridge line services.[3]
Platform 1:
- Hurstbridge line: all stations services to Flinders Street
Platform 2:
- Hurstbridge line: all stations services to Eltham & Hurstbridge
