Amaravella
Amaravella ( Sanskrit Sanskrit Amaravella — Sprouts of Immortality) was a group of young Soviet artists active between the years of 1923-1928. The second name of the group was "Cosmists." Group members included A.P. Sardan (Barabanov) (1901-1974) , B.A. Smirnov-Rusetsky (1905-1993) Смирнов-Русецкий, Борис Алексеевич, P.P. Fataev (1892-1971) Фатеев, Пётр Петрович, S.I. Shigolev (1895-1942?) Шиголев,_Сергей_Иванович, V.T. Chernovolenko (1900-1972) Черноволенко, Виктор Тихонович and V.N. Pshetskaya (Runa) Пшесецкая, Вера Николаевна. Ideologically the group belonged to the "Russian Cosmism" Russian cosmism movement. They were heavily influenced by the works of the ancient Far East, as well as those of E. Blavatsky Helena Blavatsky, N. Roerich Nicholas Roerich, M Ciurlionis Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, and V. Borisov-Musatov Victor Borisov-Musatov.
