The Cainarachi poison frog (Ameerega cainarachi;[1] formerly Epipedobates cainarachi) is a species of frog in the Dendrobatidae family endemic to Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, rivers, and freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.[2] It was named after the Valley of Rio Cainarache, where it was first discovered.
