The American Community School of Sharjah (ACS Sharjah) is situated on a 1,400,000 sq ft (130,000 m2) piece of land located on Maliha Road, Sharjah, UAE, near the University of Sharjah complex.
Curriculum
American Community School (ACS) Sharjah is a private school which has an American-based curriculum within the framework of traditional Islamic values. ACS offers the American Curriculum and the IB Diploma Programme from its purpose-built campus in Sharjah. It also features the POLARIS programme for gifted, ESL and special needs children. ACS accepts children from nursery to grade 12.
Mascot
The ACS Sharjah mascot is the Desert Cat, also known as the "Arabian Mau". It is native to the Middle East Region and has been there for over 1,000 years.
