Amrita Singh Jewelry is a US-based jewelry company located in New York City.
Founding and overview
The company was founded by Amrita Singh in 2003,[1] who serves as the company’s president and creative director, after previously working for Oscar de la Renta and Christian Lacroix.[2][3] She emigrated from India to the US before founding the company.[4] The jewelry is designed in a SOHO neighborhood studio in New York City.[5]
Jewelry & Accessory lines
In 2003, Amrita Singh Jewelry created Maharaja Jewels, in the theme of the Mughal Era in India. In 2005, the company then produced Bangle Bangle as their first contemporary collection. In addition to bangles, the jewelry lines include earrings, necklaces, and rings.[1][6] In 2008, the company introduced handbags, clothing, footwear, and cosmetics cases.[7] In 2012, the company launched home décor.[8]
