Ana Sátila Vieira Vargas (born 13 March 1996 in Iturama) is a Brazilian slalom canoeist[1] who has competed since 2011.[2]

Career

She began sport training at the age of 4, and qualified for the Olympics at the age of 15.[3]

At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Ana Sátila competed in the K1 event, finishing 16th in the heats, failing to qualify for the semifinals.[4] She finished in 17th place in the K1 event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2015, Sátila won two medals at the Pan American Games held in Toronto, Canada, she won gold at C-1 event and silver at K-1 event.[5] At the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in London, she finished 9th at C-1 final event and 13th at K-1 event, reaching just until the semifinal.[6]
