Anant English School (Nepali: अनन्त अङ्ग्रेजी बिद्यालय) also known as AES , Anant English Secondary School or Anant Secondary School was established in 1992, (2048 B.S.) with the motto of From Dark Unto Light . It is located in the district of Lalitpur. It lies in Anant Chowk of Sidhhipur, Mahalaxmi Municipality[1] It is a secondary and privately owned school with approximately 400 pupils. The school has already produced more than 500 SLC graduates students since 2058 BS .

The school was established with the aim of providing quality education and to change pupils future into light from drak . The school was founded by Principal Gopal Prasad Ghimire (गोपाल प्रसाद घिमिरे), SMC Chairman Mahanta Bahadur Maharjan (महन्त बहादुर महर्जन )with other intellectuals in 1992. This year the school is celebrating its Silver Jubilee as the school has completed 25 years with the slogan "25 years of Quality Education Service"[2]

Building Structure

School Building

The school building is one of the famous building structure in Siddhipur . The classrooms are directly connected to the open ground to give security to students from earthquake . The school was marked safe from April 2015 Nepal earthquake 2072.

Year Book

The school publishes Anant Batika (Nepali : अनन्त बाटिका ) as its yearbook. The editorial members are appointed with help of language teachers in school . Similarly different Houses publish different wall magazines [3]

Houses

The student population is divided into four houses: Blue, Green, Red and White. Each house has a House Teacher, House Captain and House Vice-Captain.
