Anu Emmanuel is an Indian film actress from USA. She made her acting debut as a child artist in the Malayalam film Swapna Sanchari. She acted as the daughter of Jayaram and Samvrutha Sunil in the film.[1] She is the daughter of film producer and entrepreneur Thankachan Emmanuel. She is the cousin of actress Reba Monica John. She debuted as adult lead in Nivin Pauly[2] starred Action Hero Biju,[3] directed by Abrid Shine.,[4]
Career
Anu Emmanuel made her acting debut as the daughter of Jayaram and Samvrutha Sunil in Kamal's Swapna Sanchari, which was produced by her father Thankachan Emmanuel. Anu was born in the US and was brought up with many traditional values and close to her motherland. She acted in the film when she was studying in 9th standard, and after completing her schools, she went back to US to finish her high school. .[5] She made her acting debut as lead in Nivin Pauly[6] starrer Action Hero Biju[7] which is directed by Abrid Shine.[8] She has been announced as the female lead in the Telugu film titled Oxygen,[9] alongside actor Gopichand in the lead.[10][11]
