Rob Dickeson, known by his stage name Apex - is a British drum and bass music producer and DJ from London.

Biography

Prior to his solo career, Rob was a member of drum and bass project Unknown Error.[2] Their first release, 'Shadows' entered the BBC 1Xtra d&b charts at the 8th place, and was featured on the Hardware Chronicles (Volume 4) EP[3] and the Guerrilla Warfare complilation.[4] This was followed by no less successful releases on the labels Moving Shadow, Renegade Hardware and Horizons.

His first solo work Space Between (feat. Ayah), published in April 2007 on Renegade Hardware immediately hit the BBC Radio1 D & B Top Ten and was included in the mix CD's D&B Arena Mix[5] and the Weapons of Mass Creation 3.[6]

In the same 2007 Apex joined the project Chris Renegade. The end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008 he toured around the world with a series of parties from the label Lifted Music Recordings. In February 2008, he released his solo EP Wall Of Sound on Lifted Music.
