Araripe Basin

The Araripe Basin (Portuguese: Bacia sedimentar do Araripe) is a drainage basin covering 9,000 square kilometres (2,200,000 acres) in Ceará and Pernambuco states of northeastern Brazil.

It is bounded by the Patos and Pernambuco lineaments.[1]
