Ari Taub (wrestler)
Ari Taub (born January 19, 1971) is a Canadian Greco-Roman wrestler.[1]
Taub is Jewish, and was born in Montreal, Quebec.[2][3] He resides in Calgary, Alberta, and is an attorney.[4]
At the wrestling World Championships, he came in 5th in Freestyle Cadets at 95 kg in 1987, and 5th in Freestyle Espoir in 1991.[2] In the Pan American Wrestling Championships, he won a silver medal in 1992, and bronze medals in 2006 and 2007.[2] He won a bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games, and a gold medal at the 2007 Commonwealth Championships.[2]
Taub competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, in the 120 kg weight class.[4]
Taub created the MMA fight TV and live event series, Hard Knocks Fighting in March 2009.[5] He is the founder and CEO of Hard Knocks Fighting network.
