Arjumman Mughal (Kashmiri: ارجومن مغل) (born 1 January 1990) is an Indian model and film actress.After a successful modelling career, she made her acting debut with Hasnain Hyderabadwala's Bollywood film Ya Rab.[1][2]

Early life and background

Mughal was born on 1 January 1990 in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Her father, Mohd Isahaq Mughal, is an ex army officer, while her mother Asiya Mughal, is a home maker. Mughal completed her schooling in Jammu and Kashmir and then moved to Mumbai to pursue a modeling career. At the age of 14 she started her career into modeling representing various ad films.[3]

Career

Mughal made her acting debut in 2014 Bollywood film Ya Rab, in which she played the role of Amreen opposite Ajaz Khan. While pursuing her schooling she was selected as child model for clothing, and then she did over 1000 ads followed with multiple theater acts at teen level. Mughal represented multiple brands such as Malabar Gold as Kashmiri. In 2012 Mughal got an international women achievement award as a popular model.she got Ashwamedh Award as best performance in debut film "ya rab" [4]
