Arthur Trevor Haddon

Arthur Trevor Haddon (1864-1941), also known as Trevor Haddon, was a British painter and illustrator.

Early life

Arthur Trevor Haddon was born in 1864 in London. He entered the Slade School of Fine Art in 1883, where he studied under Alphonse Legros. He also studied with Hubert von Herkomer from 1888 to 1890.[1]

Haddon was a painter and illustrator. He illustrated the following books:

Personal life

Although he lived primarily in London and Cambridge, Haddon traveled to Rome, Madrid, Venice, California, South America, Hawaii, and Asia.[2] He died in Cambridge on December 13, 1941 at age 77.[3]

Death

He died in 1941.
