Aruvi is a 2016 Indian Tamil eco-social drama written and directed by Arun Prabu Purushothaman and this is his debut movie.[1] This movie is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. In June 2016, the film had its World Premiere at Shanghai International Film Festival (2016) at Shanghai, China.[2][3][4]

Plot

Aruvi speaks about the social anguish of a girl.[5] Protagonist of this movie is a girl and this is her debut movie. The actress's name is Aditi Balan. She is a lawyer.

Production

The film is produced by S.R.Prakashbabu and S.R.Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures, after Saguni (2012), Kaashmora (2016) and Joker (2016).[6][7] The team had been looking for a new Tamil speaking talent to be as a protagonist and advertised in websites and social networks.[8] Bindhu Malini and Vedanth Bharadwaj scores music while Shelly Calist takes care of cinematography. Editing is done by Raymond Derrick Crasta.[9] Lyrics is penned by Kutty Revathy for this movie.[10] In an interview, Producer S R Prabhu says, "We are so much proud that Aruvi has become one of the best films produced under our banner."[11][12]
