Azghan (Persian: اذغان, also Romanized as Āzghān and Āz̄ghān; also known as Ārghān, Askol, and Azgan)[1] is a village in Azghan Rural District, in the Central District of Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,132, in 290 families.[2]
