Assekrem (Tuareg: World's End)[1] is a high plateau[2][3] in the Hoggar Mountains of southern Algeria, rising from the larger Atakor plateau[1] Assekrem is within Ahaggar National Park.[1] The altitude is 2,180 metres (7,150 ft).[3]

The hermitage of Charles de Foucauld, which continues to be inhabited by a few monks, is at the top of the Assekrem plateau.[1]
