The audacious mole-rat or Aberdare Mountains African mole-rat (Tachyoryctes audax) is a species of rodents in the family Spalacidae endemic to Kenya. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland.
