Audiovisual Archive of the Democratic and Labour Movement
The Audiovisual Archive of the Democratic and Labour Movement (Italian: Archivio Audiovisivo del Movimento Operaio e Democratico) is a film archive established in 1979 and located in Rome, Italy. Its collections, mainly films, audio and photographs, are focused in the labour movement after the end of World War II, Italian political parties, Eastern Europe countries, history of women and political movements in Asia, Latin America and Africa (liberation movements).[1]
Collections
The collections include:
- 7,000 hours of films, footage and documentaries
- 300,000 photographs
- 2,000 hours of sound, interviews, speeches and conferences
