Augusto Matine (born 13 February 1947) is a former Portuguese footballer who played as a midfielder.

Career

Born in Maputo, Mozambique, Matine gained 9 caps for Portugal and made his debut 10 May 1970 in Lisbon against Italy, in a 1-2 defeat.

After retiring from playing, Matine became a football manager. He had a spell as manager of the Mozambique national football team, and was appointed manager of Clube Ferroviário de Maputo in 2003.[1] Matine was the manager of Grupo Desportivo de Maputo until May 2012.[2]
