Austhamaren Peak
Austhamaren Peak is a peak, 2,060 metres (6,760 ft) high, standing close east of Byrdbreen in the Sør Rondane Mountains. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and in 1957 from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47, and named "Austhamaren" (the "east hammer").
