Ayat Stars Football Club is a South Sudanese sporting soccer club globly known as Ayat Stars or simply Ayat. The team is based in Aweil, South Sudan currently. The team is nicknamed as The Thunders. The team came into existence on December 30, 2009. It initially entered the South Sudan Premier League (SSPL).[1][2][3] It shares Aweil Stadium with various teams such as Tuektuek, Madiria, Apada, Merreikh Aweil, Salaam Aweil and Aweil Stars. It owns participation in the South Sudan Premier League, South Sudan National Cup and South Sudan Football Championship depending on qualification.

Ayat Stars thrashed Salaam Aweil in 2015 May 6, the match ended earning Ayat Stars a victory 2-1.
