BIPS (Bitcoin Internet Payment System) was a payment service provider that allowed its users to accept online bitcoin payments.[1][2][3]
It was based in Denmark.
In 2013, the company lost 1,295 bitcoins (then worth around US$1 Million) in an online theft.[4][5]
In 2014, the company was acquired by Coinify.[6]
