"Back in Love Again" is a song by Japanese R&B singer Misia featuring rock guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei on guitar. It serves as the 28th single for Misia, and one of the new tracks featured on her upcoming anniversary album Super Best Records: 15th Celebration. Misia collaborated with Hotei on the track, which serves as the theme song for the film The Castle of Lost Destinies, having recorded her previous single "Deepness" for the film's television drama. Misia stated that she wanted to create a rock ballad to match the film's theme of eternal love. Hotei spoke of performing with Misia as blissful due to her great vocal talent.[1]

Chart performance

"Back in Love Again" debuted at 82 on Billboard's Japan Hot 100,[2] at 60 on the Adult Contemporary Airplay charts,[3] 58 on the Top Airplay Chart,[4] and at 18 on the Oricon's Weekly Single Charts, which was its peak.[5] The song subsequently peaked at 12 on the Hot 100[6] and Adult Airplay, charts[7] while only 17 on Top Airplay.[7]
